Don't Wait for Saturn's Return to Get Excited About Your Life

Image
Forget the astrology; start now: spiritual word from a falcon Saturn Returns-Peregrine Falcon Image-Created by Marilyn Glover with Canva Originally published on Medium , which requires a paid membership to read. Saturn’s return is a celestial event when the planet Saturn returns to the same zodiac sign and degree occupied at the moment of one’s birth. Astrologically, it takes roughly 29 years for Saturn to maneuver through the zodiac, meaning most people will encounter 2–3 Saturn returns: late 20s, 50s, and 80s. Each cycle lasts about 3 years due to Saturn’s slow-moving speed, but its energy hits with a blast of ‘reality.’ Good morning, happy Monday, and welcome to the latest edition of my recurring weekly medley! This is a space where I share soulful reflections to help readers ground their spirit and begin the new week with intentional clarity. Today’s post came about from a spiritual download on Saturday. I was sitting on my balcony in the early afternoon when I noticed a bird...

Hero: Black Tulip- A Jungian Poetry Preview from Shadow's Reprieve

Image
A Jungian-inspired poem Today, I share a poem from my upcoming debut poetry collection inspired by the theories of Carl Jung. This is a freestyle poem featured in part three of my work, which explores the Self archetype. The chapbook, Shadow's Reprieve, comes out in late May, and the full-length book, Archetype of the Unlived, is slated for release in December 2026. While I have established somewhat of an online presence, most potential visitors will not know my name, so I share my art for free, hoping to gain reader trust and perhaps with that trust, I earn a follower and future supporter of my published works.

Why I Believe Our Autistic Children Are Earth Angels

Image
Earth Angel image created by Marilyn Glover with Canva This story was originally posted on Vocal Media a year ago and cross-published on Medium . I share it yet again here on my personal website to demonstrate the personal spiritual significance and to encourage readers to broaden their mindsets beyond human conditioning.  The Metamorphosis of my mind He was just a boy, a little boy, my Elijah, when he insisted he was an angel receiving his wings. Of course, I chalked it all up to a child with an overactive imagination, but the mother in me listened while he told his tale. "I feel them trying to push through my back," he cried joyously, lifting his shirt and directing my attention a few inches below his shoulder blades. But I saw nothing. Common sense told me Elijah's words came from carefree innocence and the wide-eyed wonder of a creative boy, but the empath in me felt guilty for not believing. My guilt was compounded by the notion that I believed in angels, but one ...

Spiritual Surgery for the Non-Religious: A Practical Guide for Skeptics

Beyond the physical: How to navigate the ‘Putative Energy’ of your life without losing your logic Disclaimer: This article is a spiritual guide and by no means meant to diagnose or replace vital health care that only medical professionals can provide. Wednesday night, during late-hour meditation, I received a hard-hitter of a spiritual download. “You need spiritual surgery,” stuck with me throughout the night, presenting more information in my dreams. As a highly spiritual non-religious person, I knew there was much to ruminate on, so I could accurately interpret the messages of what felt like an urgent psychic bulletin. Spiritual surgery— What the heck is that?   For the uninformed, spiritual surgery, also known as psychic surgery and energetic healing, is a metaphor for alternative health concepts based on emotional, mental, and vital life force healing. These terms fall under a practice called Putative Energy Medicine. Metaphysical healing is a more recognized term. Techn...

5 Spiritual Tips to Build Patience During Taurus Season: From Restless to Rooted

Image
Inspiration from a weeping cherry tree Taurus season is nearing its end, but I share this post today to demonstrate my writing diversity. Poetry and spirituality are my favorite topics, and nature is my favorite place to be. Many creative projects are born outside, and just as many spiritual epiphanies are discovered. This post was originally published on Medium in my publication, The Quiet Collective , and is part of a weekly recurring feature, Monday Morning Medley.  While reading stories on Medium entails a paid membership, I share my story here for free on my personal website. As you can see, my story features highlights from readers; text-specific moments providing inspiration or a personal moment for pause.

Week Two Sneak Peek of My Jungian-Inspired Chapbook; Free Poem Giveaway

Image
It's May 18, and time is drawing closer to the debut release of my Jungian-inspired chapbook. Shadow's Reprieve is a window to my full-length release, Archetype of the Unlived, due out in December. Inspired by Carl Jung, my poetry draws on abstract ideas that align with personal experiences, prompting the reader to derive personal meaning. As a deep thinker, my mindset goes beyond the tried-and-true of societal norms and explores endless possibilities. By removing boundaries, I extract potent visions, realizing man's hidden potential is often much closer to home than most imagine. As a spiritual, non-religious person, my creativity integrates the little girl in me, one who has refused to be forgotten. My chapbook, Shadow's Reprieve, honors the archetypes, Persona, Shadow, and Self, and my full-length book, Archetype of the Unlived, continues the journey, incorporating personal occurrences with Jung's theories. Reprieve Reclaimed This week's poem, Reprieve Reclai...
